Chanchen Mayan Village on Monday

This morning we began our day with a 2 hour drive out to a Mayan Village called Chanchen where there is no church at all.  Our purpose was to be the hands and feet of Jesus to this community.  We painted a house for an elderly lady in the community in the morning.  After lunch, we held Vacation Bible School for some of the children in the village.   It was difficult to communicate with the children because we had to go through 2 interpreters from English to Spanish to Mayan.  But, I believe the Lord used
our attitudes, facial expressions and deeds of love to open new doors to an unreached people group.
Below are lots of pictures to help you feel a part of this ministry.
